Please allow me to introduce you to O & P In Motion, Inc./Cranial Kidz ™ Our facility currently treats infants with Deformational Plagiocephaly using STAR ® Cranial remolding Orthoses from Orthomerica Products, Inc. These lightweight, custom-molded orthoses are manufactured under strict FDA guidelines, as required for Type II medical devices and have been used to successfully treat tens of thousands of infants with Positional Plagiocephaly. O & P In Motion, Inc. is a certified facility by American Board of Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics.  

O & P In Motion/Cranial Kidz ™ is committed to providing the best possible cranial remolding orthosis treatment. As such, we had invested in the STARscanner utilizer Type I, eye-safe lasers, and eliminates the need for the messy and sometimes traumatic, casting process. The STARscanner takes less than 2 seconds to scan, and is the most accurate means of collecting 3-D head shape date for custom cranial remolding orthoses.

In addition, the STARscanner’s Comparison Utility Software compares scans of the patient’s head throughout the treatment process and is used to document and measure the changes in shape. These measurements are recorded and printed in a STARscanner Summary Report that can be distributed to referring physician, parents, and insurance companies to illustrate positive clinical outcomes.
